Residential Re-Roofing Scaffolding
A re-roof is one of the highest-risk residential jobs there is: full working days spent at height, on a pitch, with old roofing coming off and new material going on. VergeNZ sets up scaffolding and access that lets your roofers work at full speed, safely, from the first sheet to the last.
We use the INTAKS® Soffit Prop and Attached Scaffolding configurations for re-roofs across Tauranga, the Bay of Plenty and Taupo. Both are quick to install, adapt to different soffit depths and gutter profiles, and stay well clear of the roof line so there's nothing in your crew's way.
Just as importantly, we work around the homeowner. Tight boundaries, driveways that still need using, gardens that shouldn't get flattened: we size the setup to the site, keep it tidy, and get it off the property the day you're done.

What we set up for a re-roof
01
Edge Protection – Soffit Prop
A versatile, light roof-edge protection system, adaptable to different soffit depths and gutter profiles, with largely toolless installation.
02
Attached Scaffolding – 1M Down
Attaches directly to the house frame for excellent access along the eaves, quick to install and just as quick to remove.
03
Freestanding Gables
Wide spans and flat platforms for gable ends, typically left standing once the main scaffold comes down.
04
Access stairs & ladder bays
Safe, compliant access up to the working platform for crew carrying tools and materials all day.
05
Loading bays & material handling
Platform space to land new roofing and remove the old, without walking it through the house.
06
Rubbish containment
Mesh and shrink wrap options to keep old roofing debris off the neighbour's lawn and out of the garden.
